Qigong has many of the same benefits as tai chi, because tai chi is a moving qigong or moving meditation. With the Qigong program the focus is purely on opening the energy pathways in the body and learning to move the Qi!
A common misconception is that qigong is a small art with not much to learn movement wise. You learn a few movements and do them over and over again. In my training ,I have learned over 100 Qigongs . You don’t need to learn this many to be proficient in Qigong nor does it measure your level of practice. Just one Qigong will bring great benefits to your health and well- being. Yet people find they like some Qigongs more than others. During private lessons I tailor the class to the individual. During group lessons , I use the most popular Qigongs.
